Founding Partner
Tony Rettino is a Founding Partner of Elementum Advisors, LLC and serves as Director and CEO of Elementum (Bermuda) Ltd. Tony has been an innovational leader in the ILS space, holding foundational and leadership roles since 1993. Prior to establishing Elementum, Tony co-managed the reinsurance and risk-linked investments team at Stark Investments, was a Managing Director of Cochran, Caronia Securities LLC with joint responsibility for the firm’s asset management activities, was a founding member and head of Aon Capital Markets US, and was a founding member and leader of Aon’s Financial Risk Management group. Among other achievements, Tony was awarded “Outstanding Contributor of the Year” by Trading Risk Magazine in 2011 and continues to act as a thought leader in the reinsurance and alternative investment arenas. Tony earned a BBA in Accountancy with high honors from the University of Notre Dame, an MBA in Finance and Statistics with honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive status).
